Figured birdseye maple is the beginning of this cue. Four ebony points are placed into the forearm. These points are outlined with four veneers, black, white, blue and white. This color pattern is continued throughout the cue and is reflected by the four decorative rings, made up of 12 windows in each. Each ring is further accented with ebony and maple rings on either side of the windows. The butt sleeve is made up of ebony with two decorative rings incorporated, one on top and one on the bottom of the butt sleeve. The wrap is made up of two separate strands; black with white spots and white with double black spots.
Each Downey cue comes with two 13mm shafts with a 12.5” taper, and dymondwood joint protectors. Each cue also includes moori medium-hard laminated tips and linen-based laminate ferrules. The joints are flat faced and use a 3/8" radial brass pin. The type of joint and the pin lends to the playability of the cue. Measuring 58” long they are available in 18-21 oz.
Includes two shafts and dymondwood joint protectors.
